Originally from Jackson, Michigan, Erin was born the 4th artist in her family, following the influential footsteps of 2 uncles and her paternal grandmother. She began drawing and painting at age 4, with her humble beginnings earning art accolades from such state-wide childrens competitions as Kellogg’s and the Detroit-based kitschy TV program, Sir Graves Ghastly, where a few of her classic monster drawings were showcased in the “Art Ghoullery.” In the mid-80s, Erin moved with her family to South Florida and continued to gain a rich and diverse creative background. After graduating from Ringling College of Art & Design with a B.F.A. in Illustration in 1996, Erin worked as a staff graphic artist for a major metrotropolitan newspaper - a position she credits with laying the foundation for a solid professional career. She soon catapulted 'studioerin' into an award-winning multimedia design studio, specializing in entertainment media (music, film/tv, fashion). Through her work with many talented bands, musicians, record labels, recording studios, film festivals, tv networks and fashion shows, Erin was given the opportunity to expand her portfolio by producing graphics for FOX's Kitchen Nightmares, as well as a stint as a photographer at Justin Timberlake's William Rast runway show in Miami. She's charged with designing all visuals for nationally renowned singer/songwriter, Griffin Anthony and is also a voting member of the Recording Academy (Grammy's/Latin Grammy's). |
