Genre: Pop "Community 2: A New Order Online Tribute" is an independent project comprised of various artists spanning the globe, featuring cover tracks of legendary 80's bands, New Order and Joy Division. The concept: an international competition ranging in catagories of music, video, sleeve (cover) & remix. Entries were voted on by the New Order Online community & in an uprecedented move, the producers (Nick LeBlanc & Michael Nguyen) included the top 8 sleeve designs among the interior panels of the CD cover. With Nick's design at the helm, the studioerin piece (below) is located on the last panel of the inside sleeve. The final album (above) was released on official "New Order Day" in London on October 31, 2006 & was presented to original member, Peter Hook... The image below is a 35mm photo of a drawbridge at night, in the rain - the color fx are as they appeared on the negative (water reflection of street lights & pavement*). A stylized filter was applied in Photoshop to give it the circular/double "C" effect; hence.. C2 *Original 35mm photo can be found within the 'colour' link of the Photography catagory page. |
